Yakitori (Broiled Chicken)
- 2 lbs. chicken thighs
- 1 can button mushrooms
- Round onions, sliced into wedges
- Green pepper, sliced into wedges
Sauce:
- 1 c. mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 1/2 c. shoyu
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
- Debone and cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- Soak chicken in sauce and skewer on sticks with green pepper, round onion, and mushroom.
- Broil.
- Dip in sauce again and continue broiling.
