Yum Yum Salad
- 2 pkgs. Knox gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 tall cans crushed pineapple (2 cups)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. American cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 pt. Avoset Whipping cream
1. Dilute gelatin in 1/2 c. cold water.
2. Combine 2 cups crushed pineapple and 1 cup sugar and bring to a boil.
3. Stir gelatin into hot mixture.
4. Combine: 1/2 c. American cheese, 1/2 c. cottage, and Avoset. (Do not whip cream.)
5. Add cheese and whipping cream mixture to cooked pineapple mixture.
6. Pour into mold.
NOTE: Make mold colorful by adding a drop of food coloring.
