Mock Chicken Legs

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 small piece ginger, grated
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 c. cracker meal
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tbsp. shoyu
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 lbs. pork butt
  1. Cut the pork into cubes and soak in: 2 eggs, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Soak for at least 3 hours.
  3. Roll the pork in the dry mixture (flour and cracker meal).
  4. Deep fry either individually or on skewers.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes in mixture of chicken broth, sugar, and shoyu.
