Mochiko Chicken

  • 3 1/2 lb. chicken wings
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 4 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp. mochiko
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. shoyu
  • 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. green onion, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  1. Combine all ingredients except chicken wings and mix well.
  2. Add wings and soak for at least 2 hours.
  3. Mix chicken wings every now and then.
  4. Deep fry.

NOTE: May use deboned thighs in place of wings.
