Fried Dried Noodles

  • 4 lbs. Noodles (chow mein)
  • 1/2 c. oyster sauce (yellow cap)
  • 1/4 c. shoyu
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed oil
  • 4 tbsp. sesame seed
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ajinomoto, to taste
  • 2 pkgs. beansprouts
  • 1 c. string beans, sliced
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. char siu, match stick slices
  • 1 bunch Chinese parsley
  1. Put noodles in oven to heat just a little.
  2. Pour oyster sauce on noodles and toss.
  3. Lightly pan fry vegetables and season with a dash of salt and Ajinomoto.
  4. Combine vegetables with noodles; add char siu and sesame seed.
  5. Cover with foil.
  6. Bake in 325° oven for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Garnish with Chinese parsley.
