Chicken Casserole

Temperature: 300°

Serves: 6-8 servings

  • 6 – 8 whole chicken breasts
  • 1 can Ortega green chili salsa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. tortillas
  1. Bake chicken for 1 hour, covered. Debone chicken.
  2. Mix the soups, salsa and milk.
  3. Line buttered casserole with tortillas, then chicken, then soup mixture.
  4. Repeat for two more layers.
  5. Cheese on top.
  6. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.
  7. Bake at 300° for 1 – 1 1/2 hours.
