Make and Save Pie Crust

  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 c. flour (sift before measuring)
  • 1 lb. Crisco
  • 2/3 c. water

1. Sift dry ingredients together.
2. Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
3. Add water and mix well together.
4. Divide into six parts – freeze or use (enough for 6 single crust or 3 double crust pies).
