Waioli Apple Pie
- 4 cups Apples
- 1-1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Coffee (Instant)
- 3 tablespoons Flour
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 – 9 inch Pie Shell, unbaked, with Top Crust
Peel, core and slice apples. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice, coffee and flour. Stir well. Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter. Put top layer of crust on pie and prick it to vent the steam.
Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
