Yakitori (Broiled Chicken)

  • 2 lbs. chicken thighs
  • 1 can button mushrooms
  • Round onions, sliced into wedges
  • Green pepper, sliced into wedges

Sauce:

  • 1 c. mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1/2 c. shoyu
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
  1. Debone and cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Soak chicken in sauce and skewer on sticks with green pepper, round onion, and mushroom.
  3. Broil.
  4. Dip in sauce again and continue broiling.
