Two Quart Casserole

Baking Time: 1 1/2 hours
Temperature: 350°

Serves: 6-8 servings

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 can corn
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 round onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • Bacon strips
  1. Place ingredients by layers in a 2 quart casserole.

    a.  1 cup uncooked rice, washed and drained.

    b.  1 can corn, drained.

    c.  Salt and pepper, to taste.

    d.  1 can tomato sauce, 1/2 can water.

    e.  1/2 c. of onion, pepper, celery OR 1/2 cup of one vegetable.

    f.  1 lb. hamburger.

    g.  Salt and pepper, to taste.

    h.  1 can tomato sauce, 1/2 can water.

    i.  Bacon strips.
  2. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  3. Uncover and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
