Steamed Fish

  • 1/3 c. chung choi, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Dash of Ajinomoto
  • Dash of pepper
  • 3 stalks green onions, chopped (save some for garnishing)
  • 1 tbsp. Hawaiian salt
  • 2-3 lbs. fish
  1. Mix thoroughly: chung choi, soy sauce, oil, sugar, Ajinomoto, and pepper.
  2. Add half of the chopped onions to sauce.
  3. Sprinkle Hawaiian salt into the stomach of the fish and on the outside of the fish.
  4. Pour sauce mixture on fish.
  5. Steam for 10 minutes
  6. Add the rest of the green onions on the fish just before serving.
