Shrimp Curry

  • ¼ c dried shrimps
  • 1 lb fresh shrimps
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 2 med. carrots, chopped in cubes
  • 2 med. potatoes, chopped in cubes
  • 3 c water
  • 1 No. 2 can peas
  • 2 T curry powder
  • ½ c undiluted evap. milk
  • dash of tumeric
  • salt

Fry dried shrimps in little oil, until brown. Then add fresh shrimps and onion until nicely browned. Add 3 cups water, then add potato and carrots, cook until done. Add curry, tumeric, salt and milk. Add peas and thicken with flour paste.
