Shrimp Soup

Misue Sakae – Kurtistown

  • 1/2 lb frozen shrimps
  • 6 c water
  • 1 1/2 c chopped watercress
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • 1 T ginger root
  • 1 tsp salt

Cut shrimps in halves. Add to boiling water with the ginger. Cook for 15 minutes. Add watercress, tomato and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
