Macadamia-Cornflakes Cookies

Baking Time: 15-20 minutes
Temperature: 325° – 350°

  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. powdered sugar
  • 5 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 c. cornflakes, (semi crushed)
  • 1 1/2 c. macadamia nuts, chopped
  1. Cream the butter and margarine with the sugar.
  2. Add the vanilla.
  3. Add the flour and mix well.
  4. Add the cornflakes and beat well.
  5. Add the macadamia nuts.
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.
  7. Press down cookies.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 325°-350°.

NOTE: Makes a whole bunch of cookies. Very good for giving away at Christmas.
