Cantonese Spareribs

  • 1 inch ginger, sliced and crushed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3-4 lbs. spareribs, cut 4″ long

Crush ginger and garlic. Blend with remaining ingredients. Marinate spareribs in this sauce for 3 hours. Bake in oven 325 degrees F. for 1 to 1½ hours. (Turn over after ½ hour).
