Sweet Sour Spareribs

  • 3 lbs. spareribs
  • 1 can (6 oz.) orange base
  • 1 can (6 oz.) water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic

Sprinkle salt and pepper on ribs, then flour and fry in oil till brown. In a pan add remaining ingredients. Add fried ribs and simmer for 2 hours. Add kitchen bouquet for coloring. (optional)
