Butter Yaki Sauce
- 1 c. shoyu
- 1/4 c. mirin
- 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- 3/4 c. daikon (turnips), grated
1. Heat the shoyu and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
2. Add the mirin, sesame seed and Ajinomoto and cook a while longer.
3. Serve in individual bowls.
4. When ready to eat, let the individuals add their own daikon.
