- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1/2 lb. round steak, sliced thin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce (shoyu)
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2-inch ginger, crushed
- 1 bunch broccoli, sliced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Sauce:
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. shoyu
- 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. wine (rice wine or Sherry)
- 3/4 c. water
Saute celery in 1/2 tablespoon oil, remove, Marinate beef in salt, shoyu, remains in beef, eive. nook tool in salte water until copy teste n
combine sauce ingredients; add to broccoli. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 minute. Stir in celery and beef. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
Yield: 4 servings.
