  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. round steak, sliced thin
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce (shoyu)
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2-inch ginger, crushed
  • 1 bunch broccoli, sliced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Sauce:

  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. shoyu
  • 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. wine (rice wine or Sherry)
  • 3/4 c. water

Saute celery in 1/2 tablespoon oil, remove, Marinate beef in salt, shoyu, remains in beef, eive. nook tool in salte water until copy teste n
combine sauce ingredients; add to broccoli. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 minute. Stir in celery and beef. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
Yield: 4 servings.
