Warabi Miso
Misao Yoshida
- 1 bunch warabi (approximately 20 stalks)]
- 2-3 T miso (soy bean paste)
- 2 T brown sugar
- 3 T vinegar
- Pinch of aji nomoto (MSG) – optional
1. Cut warabi into 2″ lengths.
2. Par boil, cool and drain.
3. Mix miso, sugar, vinegar and MSG.
4. Mix till sugar dissolved.
5. Add warabi into mixture
6. Let soak. Ready to eat.
