Warabi Sardines

  • 1 bunch warabi (20 stalks), cut into 1″ lengths (Do not precook warabi)
  • 1 – 1 1/2 Maui onion, sliced
  • 1 can oil sardines (Holmes)
  • 2 T shoyu
  • 2 T brown sugar

1. Fry sardines (including oil) and onions, lightly in pan.

2. Add shoyu and sugar, stirring.

3. Take out sardine bones.

4. Add warabi and cook for 2-3 minutes.

5. Ready to eat!
