Pronto Pops
- 1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. double action baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- Vienna sausages or hot dogs
- Oil for frying
- Combine all of the ingredients and add enough water to make a soft but not runny dough.
- Poke barbecue sticks into the vienna sausages or hot dogs.
- Dip in dough and fry in deep fat until slightly brown and keep turning “pronto” until done.
