Fried Tofu

  • 1 block tofu, quartered and drained
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. salad oil

Ginger Miso Sauce:

  • 1/4 c. miso
  • 1/4 c. rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. Ajinomoto
  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp. sugar

Ginger Shoyu Sauce:

  • 1/4 c. shoyu
  • 1 tbsp. ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp. green onion, minced
  1. Dredge tofu in flour.
  2. Fry in hot oil until light brown on each side.
  3. Serve with desired sauce.

Preparation of Both Sauces:

  1. Combine sauce ingredients and blend thoroughly.
  2. Serve in individual dish with fried tofu.
