Butterfish Miso Yaki
- 1 lb. frozen butterfish
Miso Sauce:
- 1/2 c. miso (soy bean sauce)
- 2 tbsp. mirin (sweet Japanese rice wine)
- 1/4 tsp. ginger root, grated
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- Combine sauce ingredients; mix thoroughly.
- Marinate thawed butterfish in sauce for 3-4 hours.
- Place fish filets on broiler pans.
- Broil for approximately 4 to 6 minutes on each side.
NOTE: The fish may also be panfried over medium heat.
