Pranzo Di Manzo

  • 3 lbs. beef (pot roast cut)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 2 cans spaghetti sauce with mushrooms

Season meat with salt and pepper. In a large skillet brown meat on all sides in oil; pour off oil; then pour in spaghetti sauce. Cover and cook slowly for about 2½ hours or till tender. Slice and serve with rice.
