Stuffed Shrimp

  • 15 extra large shrimps
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. panko flakes
  • Oil for frying

Stuffing:

  • 1 container surimi (fish cake)
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 2 large shiitake (dried mushrooms)
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  1. Soak the dried mushrooms in water for 20 minutes and chop.
  2. Peel and devein the shrimps.
  3. Mix all stuffing ingredients together.
  4. Stuff the shrimp with the mixture.
  5. Roll the stuffed shrimp in flour.
  6. Roll the stuffed shrimp in the beaten eggs.
  7. Roll the stuffed shrimp in the panko flakes.
  8. Deep fry till golden brown.
