Miso Pork Roast
- 5 lbs. pork butt
- 1 piece ginger root, mashed
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 3/4 c. miso
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shoyu
- 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
- Mix miso, sugar, and shoyu thoroughly in a large pot.
- Add ginger and garlic and mix well.
- Place pork butt in pot and simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until done and well soaked.
- Slice and serve hot!
