Mahi Mahi and Shrimp With Chinese Sweet Sour Sauce

Dip sliced fish and shredded shrimps in batter and fry

Batter:

  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ajinomoto
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. shoyu

Make sauce and pour over the fried fish and shrimps.

Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 6 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. shoyu

Mix together and cook until thickened.
