Cantonese Spareribs
- 1 inch ginger, sliced and crushed
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3-4 lbs. spareribs, cut 4″ long
Crush ginger and garlic. Blend with remaining ingredients. Marinate spareribs in this sauce for 3 hours. Bake in oven 325 degrees F. for 1 to 1½ hours. (Turn over after ½ hour).
