Warabi Namasu #1
Harriet Okino
- 1 bundle of warabi (clean, cut into 1 1/2″ lengths and blanch in hot water)
- 1 round onion, sliced, soaked in water for 1/2 hour and drained
- 1 package dried codfish
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 2 t salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 t grated ginger
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 t white pepper
Prepare sauce and add the above ingredients. Chill before serving.
