Veal Chops With Danish Meat Sauce
(8 servings)
- 8 veal chops
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1¼ cups beef bouillon
- 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Sprinkle veal chops with salt and pepper. Broil or barbecue over hot coals until golden brown and tender. Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in bouillon and cranberry juice.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cream. Spoon sauce over chops before serving.
