Dolmas
- 1 lb. ground lamb or beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. chopped mint
- 1 tsp. chopped dill
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 tbsp. tomato sauce
This stuffing may be used for a variety of dolmas. Place meat in bowl, add onion, rice, mint, dill, salt and pepper and tomato sauce. Mix well. Stuff dolma; eggplant, green pepper, tomato, or zucchini. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 1 cup water. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 or 40 minutes or until vegetable is tender.
