Tofu Steak With Mushrooms and Warabi Tips
- Whole (Medium to Hard) Tofu
- Fresh mushrooms, cut into halves
- Warabi tips
- Green onion, chopped fine
- Vegetable Oil
Miso Sauce:
- Teriyaki Sauce
- Red Miso
- Fresh ginger, grate and squeeze for juice
Mix ingredients well and to your taste.
1. Cut whole tofu into 1/2 inch thick slabs.
2. Heat frying pan with vegetable oil and saute both sides of tofu slabs until light golden brown.
3. Spread miso sauce over tofu slabs and top with mushrooms halves, warabi tips and chopped green onions to garnish.
4. Cover frying pan until mushrooms and warabi tips are tender.
