Tai-Wan Mushi
- 1 lb. ground pork
- ¼ cup chopped dry mushroom
- ¼ cup chopped bamboo shoots
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 2 tbsp. sake (rice wine)
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. shoyu
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- 1 block tofu
- 2 eggs
Fry pork in small amount of oil. Add mushroom (which have been washed, soaked in water and chopped), onion and bamboo shoots. Add sugar, salt, shoyu, and sake. Cut tofu in about 1 inch thickness and place in the bottom of casserole dish. Pour pork mixture on top of tofu. Pour 2 beaten eggs on top of mixture and bake at 350 degrees for about 35-45 minutes.
