Swiss Steak

Mrs. Fusae Nakakura – Haina

• ½ lb Round steak
• 2 c. canned tomatoes
• 2 slices of onion
• celery and carrots

Sear steak in pan, pour tomatoes over it, also onion and any vegetables, if used. Cover tightly and cook on a slow fire or in the oven until tender.
