Sweet Sour Spareribs
- 2 lbs. spareribs
- 3 tbsp. flour
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 c. oil
Gravy:
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3/4 c. brown or white sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 4 tbsp. shoyu
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Coat spareribs in seasoned flour.
- Brown spareribs in heated oil.
- Add the browned spareribs to gravy and boil until tender; approximately 1 1/2 hours.
NOTE: Shake spareribs in a brown paper bag or large plastic bag.
