Steamed Pork

  • 2 lbs belly pork
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/3 c shoyu
  • 1 T ginger, grated
  • 1 T garlic grated
  • 3 T white bean curd
  • 3 T red bean curd
  • 1 tsp red food coloring

Boil belly pork until tender. Cut into cubes and wash all the fat out, then drain.

Soak pork in sauce made of rest of ingredients, except red food coloring. After soaking for about 1 hour, steam for about 2 hours. Add food coloring.
