Shrimp Tofu
- ½ lb. shrimps, cleaned
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- 1 medium round onion, sliced
- 1 block tofu, cut in 1 inch cubes
Seasonings:
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup shoyu
- ¼ cup sake (rice wine)
- ¼ tsp. MSG
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 cup green onion, cut in 1 inch lengths
Stir fry shrimps in hot oil for 1 minute. Add onion, tofu and seasoning ingredients. Cook over medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Add green onion and cook additional minute. Serve hot with rice. Yield 4 to 6 servings.
