Shoyu Fish
- 1 pound fish fillet
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 inch piece ginger, sliced
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. shoyu
- ½ tsp. ajinomoto
Buy fish slices that are already breaded or dredge well with flour. Stir fry ginger in 2 tbsp. oil for a few minutes. Add fish slices and fry until brown. Lower heat and add water, sugar, shoyu and ajinomoto Cook on low heat, turning fish slices often to prevent it from burning. Will be golden brown in about 10 to 15 minutes.
