Shoyu Chicken

  • 5 pounds Chicken Thighs
  • 4 cups Low Salt Shoyu (Aloha Shoyu is best)
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1-1/2 inches Ginger Root, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
  • 4 Green Onions, chopped

Mix all the ingredients together. Marinate chicken overnight. Place chicken in a roasting pan, skin side down.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour. Flip chicken over and set oven to broil. Broil chicken until top is burnt like it was cooked on a hibachi.
