Pork Roast with Miso

  • 5 lb. pork
  • 1 pc. ginger 2″ or 3″ mashed
  • 2 cloved garlic (mashed)
  • ½ tsp. ajinomoto
  • ¾ cup miso
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup shoyu

Mix miso, shoyu and sugar well in a large pot then add ginger and garlic and mix well. Place pork in the pot and simmer for 2½ to 3 hours until done and well soaked.
