Pickled Pork Chops

  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 t. salt
  • ¼ t. pepper
  • 10 cloves
  • 3/4 cup sliced pickles (dill)
  • ½ cup liquid from pickles
  • 1½ cup water

Saute pork chops in butter or margarine in large skillet until well browned. Add salt, pepper, cloves, sliced pickles, liquid and 1½ cup water; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until chops are tender. Remove chops to heated platter. Combine 1 T. flour and 2 T. water and mix to a smooth paste, stir into liquid in pan; cook stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
