Oyster and Egg Fry

  • 1 pint oysters
  • Cracker crumbs
  • Onion powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup rich milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 strips bacon

Crisp fry the bacon; remove from pan. Roll the oysters in cracker crumbs, seasoned with onion powder; saute in the bacon grease. When nicely browned on both sides, pour off any excess grease. Blend the eggs with the cream, salt, and pepper and pour over the browned oysters. Cook quickly; add the crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.
