Meat Rolls
- 6 slices bacon, cut in half
- 1 med. potato
- 1 carrot
- 1 med. onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 6 pcs. string beans
- 4 T. oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Salt & pepper
- 12 thin slices meat, sirloin tip, rib eye, or BBQ slices
Slice vegetables into sticks, ½” and the width of the meat. Season meat slices on one side. Place one stick each of the vegetable on half slice of bacon and roll. Place vegetable wrapped in bacon on meat and roll meat around vegetables; fasten with a toothpick. Sprinkle meat rolls lightly with flour and brown in hot oil. Add water and a can of mushroom soup and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender.
Serves 6.
