Lasagne
- 8 oz. lasagne noodles
- 2 T. salad oil
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 #2 can tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 3 T. parsley
- 3/4 lb. ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
- 1/2 lb. mozarella cheese (or swiss cheese)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1. Brown together hamburger, garlic and onion in oil.
2. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, spices and parsley.
3. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened.
4. Cook lasagne noodles in salted water until tender. Drain and rinse under cold running water.
5. Fill rectangular casserole dish with alternate layers of noodles, mozarella cheese, ricotta cheese, tomato-meat sauce and grated parmesan cheese.
6. Bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes.
