Hamburger Curry
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3/4 tsp. curry powder ) Season to taste
- 1 tsp. salt )
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper )
- 2 medium-sized potatoes, cubed
- 1-2 carrots, cubed
- Flour or cornstarch
- Brown hamburger; remove as much of the oil as possible.
- Add onion and fry until golden brown; add seasonings.
- Add 4 to 5 cups of water to the cooked mixture–as in making stew.
- Add carrots and potatoes and cook until done.
- Thicken with flour or cornstarch mixture.
