Cottage Cheese Patties

–Rosalia Fontanilla

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup ground nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 to 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Garlic salt and sage to taste

Gravy:

  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 can mushrooms

Combine first 6 ingredients, form into patties, and fry. Place patties into casserole and cover with gravy mixture. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Serves 6.
