Butaniku No Satsuma-Age (Fried Pork Pieces)
- 1½ lb. lean pork
- ½ cup shoyu
- ½ cup sake
- ½ cup mirin
- Grated ginger
- ¼ tsp. gourmet powder
- Flour
- Frying oil
Cut pork into bite-size pieces.
Mix shoyu, sake, mirin, ginger and gourmet powder to make sauce. Soak pork pieces in sauce for 1 hour.
Pour sauce out, rinse pork, and dry on paper towel. Dredge in flour and deep fry. Drain on paper towel and serve hot.
