Beef Tomato
- ½ lb. tender beef
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup bell peppers
- 1 cup round onions
- 1 slice ginger, crushed
Beef Sauce:
- 2 T. shoyu
- 2 t. cornstarch
- 1 t. sugar
- 1 t. liquor
Gravy:
- ½ t. salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 t. sugar
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 2 T. shoyu
- ½ t. aji
Slice and season beef. Let stand 10-15 min. Slice vegetables in cubes.
Heat 1 T. oil and add ginger. Pan fry beef stirring quickly to medium rareness.
Remove from pan. Add 1 T. oil in pan and fry onions, bell peppers and celery.
When almost done, add gravy and bring to a boil. Mix in beef and tomatoes and serve at once. (If more than one recipe, cook gravy first.)
