Beef Mushroom Loaf

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1½ cups soft bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. (1½ oz.) dehydrated onion soup
  • 1 can (4 oz.) chopped mushrooms
  • ¼ cup catchup
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Pour milk over bread crumbs. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, soup, mushrooms and mushroom liquid, catchup and eggs. Mix thoroughly. Pack in a 9×5 inch loaf pan. Bake in a slow oven (325 degrees F.) 1½ hours. 8 servings.
