Hamburger Curry

  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3/4 tsp. curry powder ) Season to taste
  • 1 tsp. salt )
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper )
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes, cubed
  • 1-2 carrots, cubed
  • Flour or cornstarch
  1. Brown hamburger; remove as much of the oil as possible.
  2. Add onion and fry until golden brown; add seasonings.
  3. Add 4 to 5 cups of water to the cooked mixture–as in making stew.
  4. Add carrots and potatoes and cook until done.
  5. Thicken with flour or cornstarch mixture.
